Accompanying Information
This one goes out to all the Twilight fans out there. Just looking at the food isn’t enough to tell if an allergen is in it. The key to avoiding accidental ingestion is label reading. If there is an item that does not have a label it is safest to avoid eating it. This issue often comes up with outside foods and baked items which can be a source of hidden allergens and a risk for people with food allergies. Outside food can also be a source of cross contact. For more label reading tips see Understanding Labels in the Living Confidently with Food Allergy Handbook.
